Uvdal - Oslo, Norway

Tuesday 14th September 1999

Our last day in the Norwegian countryside. The scene was idyllic to begin with but soon changed to typical outer-city industry. After almost four weeks in the wilderness it was a rude shock, even if Oslo is pretty small by European standards.

We skirted around the city and headed for the only open campsite. Another thing we hadn't experienced for four weeks. We arrived mid-afternoon and settled in, taking the opportunity to wash our clothes.

A pretty uneventful day. I was already missing the landscape further north.
