Today we headed north along the island of Falster before crossing over to the
island of Møn. The countryside on these southerly islands is very like
the Orkneys, low rolling hills almost totally cultivated. We were heading for
another reminder of Britain, the chalk cliffs of Mon. Not quite as
spectacular as Dover but pretty good all the same. The map promised an 11th
century castle on a hill in the nearby forest so we went off to investigate.
All that we found was a few earthen ramparts but it was good to take a bit of
a stroll amongst the trees after the building site of Berlin.

We then took some minor roads and headed up to the island of Zealand, the one
with Copenhagen. We're planning to take a round-about route and get there in
a few days time.
