Berlin - Plau, Germany

Saturday 24th July 1999

Today we left our Berlin campsite and spent the morning stocking up on food and petrol. We expect things to get more expensive as we travel north.

We then had lunch by the Wannsee, one of Berlin's lakeside playgrounds, before heading off north through the flat provinces of Brandenburg and Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania (yep, that's really it's name). Finally settling down for the night in a small wooded area just near another large lake.

All-in-all a pretty quiet day.
