Dijon - Beaune, France
Monday 7th June 1999 |
We started today with an investigation of Dijon. It reminded me somewhat of Oxford, the inter-mingling of the old and new buildings just seemed reminiscent. The shops were shut so I couldn't get any Grey Poupon but Anita consoled herself by showing me what I should get her for her birthday. We then headed south through the heart of the Burgundy wine district, winding our way back and forth through the small villages before finding another idyllic spot to stop for the night. |
