Today it was off to see a few districts that we hadn't seen on our last trip.
First up we headed up to Montmartre and Sacre Coeur. Montmartre couldn't have
the same vibe now that it did fifty years ago but it was still fun to wander
amongst the artists.
We headed down past Pigalle, seeing what nightlife we were missing out in the
campsite. I don't think I could afford the Moulin Rouge anyway. We then
headed back to the centre and wandered part way along the Champs d'Elysees
before branching off around the back of the President's residence to gawk at
the high price fashion shops and art galleries.
We ended the day in the cafe on the roof of Galeries Lafayette. Almost as
good a view as the Eiffel Tower and you can afford the coffee.
