Neet and I awoke in our campsite paradise and headed into town. We'd arranged to meet Mum and Dad in the most obvious place, underneath the Eiffel Tower. Of course once there we'd have to climb it. Neet and I took the stairs whilst Mum and Dad took the easy way out and the lift. After admiring the view once more we headed down and strolled along the river towards the Louvre. The glass pyramid was surrounded by people looking puzzled at various notices. It seems that virtually the entire Paris museum staff is on strike. We weren't really planning to see any museums this time around anyway so it didn't matter too much.

We continued on to a few more obligatory sites, Notre Dame and around Île de la Cité. Before heading back to Les Halles to find a great restaurant that Neet and I had discovered when we were here a couple of years ago. We found it. It was closed. C'est la vie. We found another place which was okay but we were a little disappointed. We finished the night with an uneventful trip back to the campsite.
