Desert oasises flashed before my eyes this morning and as I felt a bit sick this morning decided to stay in bed until mid-day. Dave went downtown today to pay for our flights and pick up a few last minute items. After a bite of lunch we headed out to the car for a few hours to pack our bags and make sure that all was ready for the car to be taken to a spot organised by the father of a friend of Frank's. A pretty nice thing to do for people he's never met before!! The Swiss have gone out of their way to make us feel at home and I've told Frank to watch out because we might return and never leave!

We were spoilt again as Frank returned from work and whipped up a Rosti (which he taught me to cook) which is a Swiss tradition of shredded potatoes cooked with anything inspiring in a pan. All complimented by a bowl of salad with the tastiest dressing I've ever put into my mouth. After a bit of a rumble in the lounge room Frank left to take more of his sexy salsa lessons, surrounded by beautiful women. Whilst I finish here totally updated and will close the lap-top to write a few overdue post-cards and as I look up you'll all be pleased to know that those precious and inspiring flakes of snow are falling again. Ah! winter in Europe is magical!.
