Cambridge

From September '96 to August '98 I've been living in Cambridge. For most of that time I've been working for a company called CyberLife whose most famous product is a PC game called Creatures. I didn't work on Creatures myself. I was involved in taking the core concepts of biologically inspired software design and applying them to a core development engine to be used in a variety of applications.

If that all sounded like gobbledeegook, at least I can show you what the office looked like:

The offices were located on the river Cam, just above a pretty cool bar. Here's a view from outside:

When I left there was a bit of a leaving do and, a couple of days later, one of the guys had a party. Here are a few photos.

That's Kings College in the middle, with the famous Kings College Chapel as the most prominent building. Most of the other buildings in this view are also colleges, typically 600 or more years old. The CyberLife offices are just near the top of the picture and our flat is just in the top left corner.
